During last year, Mr Beaumont met with Mr Brewer the Computer Science lead at St Edmund’s Primary to discuss collaborations between the two schools in Computer Science.
On Monday 2nd December we were pleased to receive 28 year 5 and 6 students from Risby Primary School as part of our Primary Science Liaison initiative. In recent times Risby had visited us at the LSC, so it was nice that they could now see science in action at Beetons Way.
The SMC is a 90-minute, multiple-choice competition aimed at students across the UK. It encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems.

Flying Reindeer and 'The Santa Phenomenon' - an update for 2019

On Monday 18th November, Year 13s Alfie Dry and Emily Black and Year 12 Emily Bickers represented St Benedict’s in the final of the East Region Sixth Form Public Speaking Competition organised by the English Speaking Union.
On Wednesday 20th November a group of 26 year 7 students visited the Titan II RS Components Technology Innovation Truck, which was located at STEM Innovation Campus on Western Way.
